Another awesome day.

What a whirlwind of a day! We headed for Assiniboia this morning, with school concerts in the morning and afternoon. We had great students on both occasions and left this afternoon filled with energy. After delivering a few pre-ordered CDs around Lafleche, we headed down south with my Grandpa Maurice to the ‘deep south’. Contrary to popular belief, Saskatchewan isn’t completely flat. Once you go south of Glentworth, the land becomes rolling Badlands, native prairie, babbling brooks, poplar trees and wild Saskatoon berry bushes. It was an unforgettable experience to see the land from a rancher’s perspective, driving through pastures, meeting new baby animals, and eating delicious burgers at the Royal Hotel. We returned re-energized, rejuvenated and ready to rehearse. Pictures coming soon…

  1. Glad to hear about your exploits, and yes anyone who has driven from Moose Jaw to Assiniboia or on other non-standard routes knows Saskatchewan isn’t flat like highway #1 drivers think. I’m sure all who get to hear you will thoroughly enjoy your concerts!
